Yesterday I went into College to help set up my stand for the second years Exhibition. I had to re-mount my exam outcome work as it was done terribly by someone the first time. I had loads of ideas of what kind of display I wanted and the order of my work and what not, but pretty much all I could have was a small selection of my work pinned up onto plain white boards. I don't even think mine looks all that good.
But I guess I'm just a perfectionist.
And earlier on this morning I went to town and bought a simple grey chiffon dress (from one of the designer ranges at New Look) which is really pretty and I'm going to wear it Thursday night to the exhibition. I paid for it by getting a refund for a a floral dress my sister gave me for my Birthday, (but was too small-boo!) and I still had part of a voucher left over from Christmas last year and I got a student discount on top of that! So I barely had to pay anything for it, which is always a bonus, right?
PS. Another beautiful hair-do I wish I could have for the exhibition Thursday (failing that; all summer long) but my hair is no where near long enough. Darn!
