Scor-zilla-the-gorilla.

I've seen two films by Shane Meadows before, and they were This Is England (2006) and Dead Man's Shoes (2004), which were both gritty and sometimes brutal. It's odd that I still haven't seen Somers Town (2008) which I've wanted to see since it came out at cinemas, unfortunately it never showed in Worcester to the best of my knowledge. So anyway Le Donk and Scor-zay-zee (2009) Shane Meadows' last feature film was completely different. It's a documentary film following Le Donk and rapper Scor-zay-zee aka 'Scor-zillia-the-gorilla' according to himself. And well, it was still a little gritty, but generally more comical and with a run time of only 71 minutes it's fits the bill perfectly.

Did you know that Shane Meadows had directed those two abuse adverts, the ones 'if you could see yourself; would you stop it?'
