I do prefer shooting (and drawing) in landscape, and I always have just because I like the dimensions. But recently I've started to become fond of portrait. I guess it's just a case of experimenting, which I think is the best thing to do.

Oh, I like the stair shot! Have you seen the tv show Castle? The main character, a writer, has a very neat stair photo on the wall behind his desk and this shot reminds me a bit on the one he has. Nice work!
