Exhibition Part Two. The Exhibition.

So, last night was my college A Level Art Exhibition! Which pretty much means (bar results) I'm finished Sixth Form College for good. On to Art College I go. Talking of Art College: this morning I had an induction day there and I will begin Art College properly on September 13th and I have a summer project to do in the mean time (yearh that's news for ya'll).

Those two pieces of work are my favourite from my exam work this year, I really enjoyed myself doing them as I got to experiment with watercolours, chalk, charcoal and oil pastels, plus I mounted these myself the other day which is a really good feeling. I think they might of looked better on black mount board but like I've said before, I'm somewhat a perfectionist when it comes to my art work.

I wore my prettiest dress. The one that I bought and talked about the other day too. I actually adore it. (And it looks like this might be the first with a 'What I Was Wearing Today' post and I think I might do some more over the summer... Actually I just remembered I kind of did an outfit post one time before- bleh, lets start again from now).

The ruffled flowers along the neckline are so dainty and cute, and I got lots of compliments about it (blush). And I really like the middle section of the dress as it means I can wear it without a belt if I wanted. I have so many dresses that have to be worn with belts so this is such a refreshing change. The chiffon fabric reminded me of this dress, I guess I'm pretty inspired by Laura's style over on The World Looks Red. I wore it with my redish brogues, just to dress it down a bit.

Everything I'm wearing is either thrifted (cardi, brogues, watch and bag) or gifted (dress-kind of gifted, but good enough for me).
