I don't know if you've ever been to watch a film at the cinema by yourself, but today, I did. It was the local 'art house cinema' the Splendid Cinema in Worcester and it was their first Sunday matinee performance, but everyone I normally would go with were all working. Damn it: I don't even have a job. So anyway, I wasn't even nervous to begin with, walking into town by myself, then I finally realised I'd actually have to sit in the audience by myself. Then as I was walking down the road these two builders whistled at me, I realised in a second in a sort of Amelie voice over kind of fashion: 'Nicola hates: people who whistle at her in the street'. Especially builders. I didn't even feel that pretty looking in my make-shift skirt, bare legs, my average leg width and average leg height, so all it did was make me feel self conscious. I hate that.
I saw a film called Black Cat White Cat (1998). I don't really know what to say about it apart from there was alot of going from here to there in a farcical pace (it was a farce). And even now, I'm not sure who some of the characters were...
